Great split ring pliers. Strong and stiff . The tip doesn't flex and twist. These were bought to be used as just split ring pliers, I do believe these could function as general use fishing pliers.

This fishing pliers is great. Everything I could ask for and the carrying case is a huge plus. I have used it ice fishing several times since I purchased it, and the line cutter at the bottom of the mouth of the pliers is a huge bonus. The slotted clamp for sinkers is also a huge plus.
